By the way, I just returned to playing UTour Golf after a 2 month hiatus. There are no pay tournaments and hardly anything else going on in the site. What happened??

You've grabbed the last open spot. After the third tournament, I will take a look at who hasn't played any of the first three tournaments and remove them from the group invites except for the people who I know about that are gone and couldn't have played. I will do this in order to open up more spots for people who might want to sign up mid-season.

As far as pay tournaments and UTour, nobody really knows what happened for sure. Personnaly, I think their parent company isn't doing very well so UTour is falling to the wayside. JB just came into the forum one day and announced the end of all cash tourneys and that was it. Hopefully, they will stil keep running the site for a while at least.

wonder why folks have to alter their names a bit to sign in on this site

not sure, it doesn't happen often but at least 1 of the cases I've heard about was because something (email, etc) was typed in wrong upon registration. Others, maybe registration never went through.

Congratulations on what appears a great forum and good way to continue competitive games on U-Tour.

Man i just read the playing times and i'm quite disappointed with them.

Between 4-7pm EST means between 1-4pm PST (my zone). That means i will never be able to play in this league because i'll be working.

I believe there is room for improvement in this area of this league's setup.
It caters mainly to the folks on the east coast. Everyone else has to try to work their lives around the EST schedule and that will not be possible for most folks (that lead a normal life style).

This is truly unfortunate i think. I really like the idea of this league and would really like to play. But i don't think i will be able to due to the limited play times setup thus far.


Anyone have anything to add to this subject? Am i wrong in this observation? Did i miss something here?

the tourneys are only set up between 4-7 pm. you then have 48 hours to play them,so you have no worries. if you can play at say,11 pm est, it's only 9 pm pst.

Man, I've been doing my skull in trying since early October to get signed up for this. No matter how I tried, I couldn't get a reply email to authenticate my subscription. Now I'm too late Hope I can sneak in through the back door now, although I doubt it.
