Sorry, I was in a rush when I first posted it.
It is very similar to the system the PGA uses, albeit with a different points system and 3 events instead of 4 but the premise is the same.
At the end of the regular season, the points will be reset according to the chart I posted earlier. The top 30 players in season points at the end of the regular season will qualify for the playoffs. There are 3 playoff events, all with more points to be earned and accumulated to your scoe thoughout the playoffs. Points for coming in specified places in a playoff event (round 1,2 or the finals) can also be seen on the chart posted earlier. The amount of points able to be earned increases with each round. Also, the field will be trimmed after each playoff event. After the first round, the field will be trimmed from 30, down to 23 players. After the second round, the field will be trimmed down to the final 16, who will then play in the finals. After the finals are played, the person with the highest number of points at that point will be named the league champion.

So that means then that the last 10 weeks or so tournies are worthless. because we start on zero again to determine champion??

The past tournaments are not worthless as you are vying for postion in the playoffs. The points are NOT reset to zero. The better that you do in the regular season, the better chance and more of an advantage that you will have in the playoffs. The points reset is posted below:
